Can you have artichokes on this diet?

I love artichoke season, when the veggie is so big it can suffice as a meal itself.. does anyone know if this okay to have on this diet? I have heard mixed reviews...

and what about the marinated artichoke hearts?

The answer is yes. HOWEVER, on the marinated ones, there can be an issue of too much salt AND some have sugar in their marinades.

one more quick question... how about spaghetti squash?

Yeah spaghetti squash is fine as a replacement for beans. It is a low GI carb.
