Occam's workouts vs. Abs & KB

I'm a petite woman; I have minimal fat % to lose, mostly just want to put on some muscle and get some definition. Do you think it necessary for me to do the gym workouts shown in the 2 occam's chapters, or are the KB's & other mentioned exercises with that section, and Ab workouts okay as a replacement if I want to get defined and put on just a bit of muscle? Any ideas?

You don't need to do Occam's
I am assuming you want to exercise for astetics and not for performance. I would do the Kiwi's full workout it is in the book but also here http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/exercises/
