Just got back from a week with my family at my grandparents cottage. I had an awesome time, and got to hang out with my brother and his daughter (8 months) who I haven't seen since January.
My "experiment" for this week was vacation! I kept my meals fairly SCD friendly (2 eggs + almond butter breakfast, cold cut meat and veggies for lunch, meat and vaggies for dinner), but I did allow myself to cheat (i.e. cookies / chips / unlimited diet soda / unlimited fruit, etc.) after lunch. Some of the meals also had small cheats such as home made breaded chicken, patato salad, cream sauce, pasta with sugar & apples. Basically, I tried to stay true to some of the principles of SCD, while allowing myself to cheat. Cheats were still less epic than "cheat days", and I did not have a cheat day yesterday.

I actually thought I'd be up more than this. I am generally up about 5 lbs after cheat day, so I look at this as gaining about 3.5 lbs over a week of indulgance. I hope that this extra weight will come off quickly (more like the weight in the first month of the SCD). I've wondered if this was the case before, so I thought it might be helpful to track and share my weight progression throughout the week (or until I hit 194 again). I'll still do macro updates in my progress log (link below).
This week I will back to my SCD/Primal type diet (i.e. SCD with no beans but I allow up to 50 g 90% dark chocolate, and blueberries and raspberries). I will keep track of my weight, waist, and calculated BF% measurements here.
