Jason's @ FindingMyFItness progress log

Postby FMFBlogger » March 9th, 2011, 7:58 pm

Now that I'm back in the US and want to capitalize on the 12 lbs I lost in Paraguay (the last time I lost weight in Paraguay I gained it all back), I decided now's a good time to start my log here. I'm tracking a lot more and want to keep it more public and in one place.

Upon returning from Paraguay, I looked like this:
March 1, 2011
Weight: 294.6
Arms: 33
Legs: 56.625
Waist: 54.5
Hips: 49.75
Neck: 17.5
Total: 211.375

After the first week, progress was slower.
March 8, 2011
Weight: 294.6
Arms: 33
Legs: 56.75
Waist: 54.25
Hips: 49.5
Neck: 17.5
Total: 211

Inches went down a hair, but weight didn't go anywhere. To its credit, I cheated more than I needed to.

This week I started PAGG and also am tracking my water as I have seen that it is the big changer for most people. I am really curious to see how it affects my fat loss.

I hope you'll follow me and keep me accountable. I need you guys to make sure I do this this time. I'm still excited about it, and it's been a whole two months and some change (the longest I've ever maintained a change like this). I want to keep it that way.

You can see my tracked progress here:

Thanks guys!

It's been a couple days since I posted my results, but I am finally getting to them here.

As of March 15, 2011
Weight: 296
Arms: 33.25
Legs: 54
Waist: 53.5
Hips: 49.5
Neck: 17.75
Total: 208

The big question of the week was "Did PAGG work?"

It was the first time I did PAGG, and I had been anxious to start. My diet remained pretty much the same, as well as my cheating with chocolate during the day. I gained a bit over a pound, but my inches went down by 3! That astounds me. It makes me wonder if the fat cells are really starting to die off...

I'm tracking more things this week. like daily weight and more details involving behavior and well being (cheating, feeling tired, more energy, etc.)

I also started a youtube channel that will at the very least have bi-weekly (or so) video updates on my aspect. Basically just me walking around in a circle.

Once I figure out how I want to make them, I want to add some cooking videos too.

Please help me stay accountable! Check out my blog for the most recent updates. You guys are the reason I've stayed motivated!

Totally missed an update last week...

I had decided to change my check-in day to Thursday because...well, basically it's farther away from my cheat day. ;)

As of March 24, 2011
Weight: 295.2
Arms: 33.75
Legs: 54
Waist: 53.75
Hips: 49.5
Neck: 17.25
Total: 210.25

The biggest problem I had during that week was the inability to stop cheating on small things during the week. After a very mild weekend, I decided to really harness it in this week and take the hint of a couple of the strict 4HB followers to be strict.

This week I'm doing a case study on doing the plan by the book. Using only the foods and exercises listed, I'll see how the results differ. You can read the post at FindingMyFitness.

Thanks!

I started doing the diet exactly like Tim says to in the book. I only ate foods he listed. I did the 3 main exercises he suggested for basic fat loss.

I lost 3 lbs.

This was the first week since the first that I had what I would consider substantial weight loss in one week. Even my inches moved. PS, I only had 3 solid days of eating the way we should.

As of March 31, 2011
Weight: 291.6
Arms: 33.25
Legs: 55
Waist: 53.25
Hips: 50
Neck: 17.5
Total: 209

I'm going to keep doing things this way at least through Monday just to get a whole week in, but I'll probably go through next Thursday to show a whole week going by the book. Stay tuned!

I just realized I haven't posted in ages. I'll try to take a few minutes soon and post an update. Hint: it's mostly good news.
