i ended up with a stomach bug today and attribute my lack of appetite to that.

of course i'd catch a stomach bug the day before my first cheat day! hopefully i'll be able to eat and keep food down tomorrow. talk to you all tomorrow.

I highly recommend a commercial probiotic for helping heal that and prevent it from happening again.

Here is a good article on gut flora http://chriskresser.com/the-high-price- ... ly-recover

My research on probiotics this one is one of the best http://gapsdiet.com/Bio-Kult_Probiotic.html

thanks for the info, i'll keep it in mind. luckily whatever kind of bug it was seemed to be gone by morning so i guess i'm good for now! and lucky!

so here's the results of Week 1:
weight: 127.6lb (-3.8lb)
bicep: 10"/11" (-.5" when relaxed/0" when flexed)
chest: 36"
waist: 30"/34" (-1" at natural waist/-2" at belly pouch)
hips: 36" (-1")
thigh: 21"
bf%: 26.04% (-00.33%)
bmi: 24.92 (-00.74)

so today was my cheat day, and oh did i cheat ever so well! i had a monster sized breakfast...so much so that i wasn't hungry again until around 5! i had a nice big dinner as well. i did fit in about an hour of high intensity workout today...since i'd have the extra carbs to use as fuel!

I take a probiotic every day. From my research a probiotic and fermented cod liver oil/butter oil are the most important supplements to take.

Gut health it essential for over health and fat loss.

Hi, I'm new to the forum/ and 4hb diet. I haven't started the diet yet, but hope to start after preparing myself for it. I love reading your log, and wanted to say good job on your 1st week! :)
Keep up the good work!

Update Mid-Week: So I've had a little snagaroo this week sticking to the diet :? As much as I love the results, I could not refuse the urge to munch on Oreos this week! Lesson learned: Do Not leave Cheat Day Goodies around the house after Cheat Day!!

So while I've been working out, hard, preparing for my events in the upcoming months. The diet seems to be okay in the afternoon and evening, but without a hearty breakfast I seem to plummet during the workouts. So I'm switching my diet plan to a 4HB lunch and dinner plan. Breakfast will be my normal "workout" breakfast.

I'm going to trial this plan for the next few days, and then possibly into next week to see if I still am losing weight and toning up or if I just hit a plateau again. We shall see!
